The foundation for the creation of AnimatedWorks Productions began internally as part of a multi-media internet project in the spring of 2005 for parent Polygon Web Creations, Inc. The project requirements included the development of more than 20 short animated segments designed to distribute feature film quality animation over the internet with user friendly loading times. The result was the creation of several animated characters to include Zany, the quintessential dog about town and the essence of cool. Many of Zany’s animations can be seen at www.ZanyInTheCity.com.

Throughout the two year creative process of building the Zany animation library, we worked with many of the animation industry’s leading writers, animators, illustrators and concept artists with an extensive background in film and TV production. The highly acclaimed success of our animation productions formed the basis for the spin off and launch of AnimatedWorks as an independent company.
